Rental conditions

Product information
True Vesterålen Hotel AS offers rental of double rooms, triple rooms and apartments for 2-6 people for self-catering. The booking of rooms and apartment includes bed linen and towels. Room cleaning and washing of towels and bed linen during the stay are not included, but washing after the stay is included in the rental price.  
 
True Vesterålen Hotel AS uses an online booking, payment and check-in/check-out system. There is no staffed reception. Access to the hotel, the rooms and the apartment is via a code lock. The code for the locks is sent automatically via SMS and email between 12.00 and 15.00 on the check-in date. The code is used throughout the stay and is operating from 15.00 (3pm) check-in date and stops to work after 11.00 (am) check-out date.

Purchase and rental conditions 

An SMS and e-mail will be sent on the check-in date. The rooms are booked immediately after the payment is completed. This is done by sending an email to you with a receipt for your stay. This receipt is proof that you as a guest have reserved a room for the specified period of time, and therefore require accommodation in the given period.
 
Payment
We require full payment for your stay up to 14 days before arrival. Payment link will be sent out.
 
Personal information
True Vesterålen Hotel AS processes personal data according to the Personal Data Act. Information that may be associated with you as a person will never be made available to other businesses or be linked to other external records.


Brief information
When you shop at True Vesterålen Hotel, the payment will be processed by NETS. This is a secure electronic payment solution for Visa and MasterCard / Eurocard. All card information is kept in accordance with the card companies' regulations.

 
Cancellation
If you have booked a stay, you can cancel free up to 14 days before the date of arrival. 
Cancellations from 14 days before the date of arrival we charge a cancellation fee of 30% of the total price.
If you book a stay and do not check in, you must pay the entire total price.
If you regret the order, cancellation is available for 24 hours after the order was made.
If the arrival date is the day after the booking was made, cancellation is available for 4 hours after the order was made.

Complaints
If there is an error or defect in the goods, you must inform True Vesterålen Hotel AS in writing (e-mail or letter) within a reasonable time after you have discovered that you wish to claim the defect / defect. True Vesterålen Hotel AS will then give you information on what to do next. The rules on complaints can be found in the Consumer Buying Act (Consumer Purchase Act).
 
Right of withdrawal
There is no right of withdrawal under the law of travel and residence.
 
Warranty
There is a guarantee under Norwegian law on travel and hotel stay.
 
Alcohol and brought goods
It is not allowed to enjoy brought alcohol in the hotel's public areas.
 
House rules
It is not allowed to let others enter True Vesterålen Hotel AS than those listed as residents of the room. If there is a special need for this, this must be agreed in advance with True Vesterålen Hotel. The public areas outside are video monitored.
The public areas must always be kept clean. Also make sure that the doors are closed and locked when you leave the rooms.

It is not allowed to have parties in the hotel rooms, the apartment or any public places within the building's area. It must be quiet in the hotel and apartment at 11 p.m. If noise occurs after this time, the security service will be contacted and additional expenses of NOK 2,000 will be billed to the responsible renter.
